We could do it based on last year, or our expectations for next year. Doing it based on last year would make voting more objective and concrete, I suppose. I'm fine with whatever though.

I'm fine with doing it based on last year BUT how would you account for the upcoming draftees?


Unless you say they're off limits then based on last year would be fine. Or we can just do it off of their college year... but yeah how many of them will get picked anyway.. so it might not be as big a deal.

Another problem with doing it based off of last year is then guys like Paul George, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose are off limits since they were injured a tonne?


Not to mention Alec Burks?

- Wesley Matthews?

- Brandon Jennings?

- Patrick Beverley?

- Kobe?

- Rubio?

- Jabari?

- Carmelo?


Won't we be discarding quite a few players if we do it off of last year's productions?

At this point you can't pick Gobert before DeAndre Jordan......truth

But Mark Cuban said DJ was the next Shaq who would put up 20/20 numbers.

And I would pick Gobert over Jordan.

Another issue to consider is whether or not we're going to add drafting a coach to the mix...


This has always been a contentious issue and I don't have a lean either way but just wanted to know everyone's thoughts on it? We could make it so all past coaches still alive are also eligible to be picked (i.e., Sloan, Jackson would be available also).

Heh.. I think it would spice things up a bit. Spy really pushed it last year and we nearly went with it until Cy put his foot down and said No. But Cy is not part of it this year, so we all have an opportunity to try it.

It's a ****ty idea. There are like 5 coaches people care about, and the rest will be irrelevant.
