Not the guy I was expecting you to take, but good pick nonetheless.

Sorry about the delay. Hack messed me up by taking Davis at #44. Plan B required a shift in philosophy a bit and I wasn't sure how I wanted to play things, but oh well. Webber would have been a monster playing with Ewing, Pippen, Jordan and Payton. That's a really solid starting 5. Now I need to get them some help.

Highly motivated to move up from #73 to get at least one more of my target players. Offering #93 and willing to drop way back to make it work.

Don't be trying to move up in front of me to take my player.

With my #49 pick I'm going with...

Carmelo Anthony (scoring 6th man off the bench)

Carmelo_Anthony_Scoring_Title.png

Kobe Bryant on Carmelo: "He was the most difficult to guard because of his size and speed. He can shoot the long ball, have a great mid-range game, great post-up game, turn around left shoulder, turn around right shoulder. Melo does it all, and he's strong as a bull. Going up against that BULL it's fun but it's extremely CHALLENGING.

Arguably the best pure scorer in the game currently and over the past decade second only to Kobe and Durant. Can also step in to play small ball stretch 4 if need be depending on what match-up requires.

Anthony's Scoring record says it all:

2004: 21.0
2005: 20.8
2006: 26.5
2007: 28.9
2008: 25.7
2009: 22.8
2010: 28.2
2011: 26.3
2012: 22.6
2013: 28.7 (scoring title)
2014: 27.4
2015: 24.2
