This would be a good time to discuss what we should do in the event of a tie. One idea I have is to put precedent on the votes of the participants of the tournament. In other words, if there is a tie, it comes down to who had the most votes from the other GMs. Of course, that could also end in a tie since there's an even number of us... but this is just one idea.
Here's my write up:

What we did in previous years in terms of a tie is to count and add up rep points of voters and do it that way.
This gives more weight to established voters and less weight to new/clueless posters or alts.

Yeah, sounds vaguely familiar.
Good thing rep is capped at 100, otherwise any tie-breaker would simply be who Peeks voted for.
Haha.. true.
Also if there is a tie for the percentage loss margin when selecting x2 teams to come back, should we go with teams with more votes? That's pretty standard no? If votes still tie then count rep power.
