They're perfectly fine. People were too chicken to pick Rose so now everyone wants to act like he didn't just have an amazing post season and play the majority of the regular season. Rose is back, people. He won't ever be as good as he once was, but he was still very good this past season and will be even better next year.

And Manu is still a fantastic role player. Give me Manu in a playoff series over plenty of the guys that have been picked ahead of him. Even as old as he is, his per 36 numbers were amazing; nearly 7 APG. And let's not forget he won a championship just a year ago and was a crucial cog to that team.

We're not talking about Kobe yo, these guys are alive and well, even if they're not at their peaks.

All indications are Kobe will be back this year for his FINAL season. There is no question he'll return and he'll do much better with D'Angelo Russell handling the ball and Kobe playing off the ball. There are even talks about Kobe playing the 3 in some small ball lineup with Russell and Clarkson in the backcourt.


Moreover I've got Kobe coming off the bench so it's not like he'll be playing major minutes, he'll be required to provide scoring punch may be go 1-on-1 against other team's bench which he'll absolutely thrive in.

So.. Basically the Chicago Bulls w/ Marc Gasol instead of Joakim Noah.

Put the best center in the league on the Chicago Bulls and they'd destroy. Add in the second best passing SG in the NBA, and damn.

He was averaging 22 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists last season before going down to a shoulder injury, nothing to do with his previous achilles. He's expected to return in September.


BTW Kobe is still only 36 compared to Manu who is already 38.
