Wait.. I actually like that idea on second thought. We reward the winner of the all-time draft, like an extra incentive to win it.

So we would have 15 teams, Ellis would have a bye in the first round matchups.

(Not how the matchups would go, just an example)

1 v 14
2 v 13
3 v 12
4 v 11
5 v 10
6 v 9
7 v 8

That would leave us with 7 winners plus Ellis which would be 8, leaving us a perfect number for matchups.

I'm down if everyone else is.

Yeah I'm down with this works well less teams too meaning a faster draft process which should keep Siro happy since he is all about the destination and not the journey.

16 teams in current draft is too many IMHO. The drop off in talent from the top 5 to the last 5 in each round is crazy. I'm still in, just voicing my thoughts.

Once you pass 12 teams it doesn't matter how you vote IMO. Most normal fans don't follow players closely enough to know anything about some guy who is a 2nd string SG for the Bucks for example. It makes it hard to evaluate teams and again will just be a vote for the team with the most players whose names someone can recognise.
