2015 Annual JazzFanz Current Players Draft

Exum was a bit of a reach and Parker was a steal. I wanted both and gambled that if I took Exum that Parker would fall a bit more. Was worried that Dante wouldn't make it to my last pick there. Length and defense are a good fit for what I want.

I don't think Parker was a steal. He's proven very little, and he's coming off a major injury. I'd say it was an okay pick.

Can't call Parker a steal imo, before he got hurt he wasn't that impressive and blew out an ACL. He would likely not even get onto the floor in this format, just my opinion though

Why would we assume this?

Because you cant guess if future injuries will happen otherwise you could throw anyone out and say you think they will get hurt. You can say you dont think they will recover from a current injury I guess but you cant assume they will get hurt again, that is just too wild of a guess.

The problem with Kobe isn't his talent, it's his mentality. He wouldn't be the 6th man. He's Mamba, he's primary option or nothing. Chemistry nightmare man.

Some guys you have to question whether they would last a 7 game series though (Wade).

He was playing well enough to be out in front before the injury in all the rookie of the year rankings. He was shooting 49% from the field averaging 12.3 points and 5.5 boards. It is safe to assume he is going to improve. ACL injuries on young players are not that big of deal anymore. Almost all of them come back stronger and more athletic because of the rehab these days.

I think it's unfair to say this since he has never had to be the 6th best player in his team before ever.

Put him in a team with Nowitzki, Durant and Wade and I think he'll relish the chance to come off the bench (now that he is older) and be the man who puts his team over the top.

He's a winner above all else and he'll do whatever it takes to win.

I agree although I would start him over Wade. Kobe has shown when he plays with talent he can take a step back. He has done that with the olympic teams he has been on.
