I already said Harden was the better player. Carmelo has had seasons of 20% assist percentage. Dude passes the ball. Averages over 4 assists per game for his career.

Melo is a very talented player, but he's sn ISO player who doesn't make his team better. Harden does make his team better, and it's very obvious.

Melo has had over 10 win shares once in his career, Harden 3 times already. Melo's highest offensive rating is 114, Hardens lowest is 109, which was his rookie year and since then he's never gone under 116. So no, it's not that close. Fwiw, career ORtg for Melo is 108 and DRtg is 107 vs 118 and 106 for Harden. Not. Even. Close,
