Orlando Magic (tfivas) draft looked like this:

#3 - Jahlil Okafor

*Orlando Magic traded the rights to Kristaps Porzingis (#5), the rights to Michael Qualls (#51), and their 2017 first round pick top-5 protected to the Philadelphia 76ers for the rights to Jahlil Okafor (#3).

What grade do you give them for this draft?
 
Not the biggest fan of Okafor and trading up to get him, while losing 2 picks is not ideal in my books especially when Porzingis and Hezonja could be had at 5. I'd say C...
 
Okafor is a terrible fit for Magic.

I think Okafor might be BPA over Porz, but only slightly, so I think fit would trump true BPA in this case. ****ed up hard by not having Porz on Magic, which is a perfect fit (chance for an inverted offense with dominant slashers and stretch bigs).

Porz could be good but he has high bust potential to never be heard from again in three years. Okafor is going to be elite in the post. Will either be a top5 big or not but his basement in my eyes is a little worse then Big Al. Great trade up. If he becomes a star the way I think he will who cares that he's not a team need
 
B. Still got a top 5 talent, but that much for a 2 place jump is a lot.
