warriors vs cavs? jazz vs cavs in the finals sound better. I wonder if it will happen.

will we reach the final after lebron's prime? we shall see
 
Lebron's legacy at this point depends on his longevity, but I definitely think he's already in the convo for GOAT. I penciled him in at two already. He's a physically superior MJ tbh. Just needs the rings.
 
Also, I've been pimpin the Warriors for a while now, although I admit even I didn't know they'd be quite this good. My next team to bandwagon is gonna be Philly. People think they hate them now, wait until that team is stacked and they start to put it together. Lots of teams will try to copy their rebuild and the anti-tankers will be screaming bloody murder. Should be fun.:cool:

No doubt about this. He plays MJ's game with Karl Malone's size. He's got the mental aspect, too. Does anyone believe MJ could have taken this team to a championship? If LBJ does it would be legendary.
 
I don't think the cavs have enough fire power to beat the Warriors. Maybe if they had a healthy Love and Irving.

Dumping the Hawks is one thing

Beating the Warriors who have guys like Iggy, Lee, and Barbosa coming off their bench is another. Oh, and the Splash Bros are a different animal from anything in the east. The closest thing might have been Wall and Beal. They're splash bros lite

Lebron in a jazz uniform would challenge the Bulls record 96 record. He'd make even Exum look good.

Kobe v Jordan is an easy comparison. They are about the same size, similar skill sets and games. Jordan does everything better than Kobe. Kobe is a poor man's Jordan.

LeBron v MJ isn't so cut and dried. I'd give MJ the edge still due to superior scoring and defense, but Lebron does certain things better than MJ (rebounding, assisting) and he does and has done things MJ can't or didn't do (e.g., defend big men for extended periods). Yet Lebron can do everything Jordan can do at a high level, though maybe not quite as well. A lot of this is simply due to the fact that Lebron and MJ are both wings, but Lebron is so much bigger.

Again, I take MJ, but if somebody wants to argue Lebron, I get it. Lebron just does so much. If not the best, perhaps the most complete player in NBA history.

Good post.
Jordan was SUCH a fantastic scorer and seemed to just raise his level of play so much in big games and big moments that I have to give the edge to Jordan. And its actually an easy choice for me.

And I always hated Jordan and have always been a huge LeBron homer.


Imo no one compares to Jordan still.


Lebron belongs with Wilt, bird, magic, russell, shaq, Duncan

I put Kobe with guys like Isaiah, Malone, Barkley, hakeem, kareem

I think Jordan is in his own tier, LeBron is in the second tier, Kobe is in the third tier.
