He wins this series with this motley crew of fundamentally sound misfits (excluding J.R. Puke, of course!) and he may just go down as better and more valuable than Michael Jordan, heh?

dude is playing in the finals, he may had 2 bad games but other than that he had a great season and very solid performance in the playoffs, especially against chicago when sometimes he just kept the cavs in the game

i am more than confident that he will still have a word to say in this finals

That's exactly what Curry needs to do and will probably do. If he goes to the hoop a lot more it's gonna put Delly off balance and put him on skates, which will open up his 3 pointer. Curry can shoot from anywhere so this makes alot of sense. If they don't want him shooting threes then fine, he can shoot closer.

Also, I would expect the Warriors to run a lot more screens and Delly too.
 
I find it interesting and pleasing that the NBA isnt granting superstar calls for Lebron


Can you imagine if Lebron played with the same forgiveness from the refs as Jordan? You couldn't even breathe on Jordan.

I feel sorta bad for Lebron that he doesn't get the same treatment. But on the other hand, I like it too, because it was never right the way things were called back in the day.

I really like Jordan and would still put him number 1, but there can be a strong argument that he might only have about 4 or so titles if he wasn't getting the favorable superstar calls.

Re: Lebron, I don't think they were super star calls though, refs blatantly miss clear contact calls.


Sportscenter guy commented something like that team without LeBron are DLeaguers.... But now they just won a game in the Finals... Muahahahahaha...


Blatt is probably the best guy to be coaching this outmatched team? That's what he did with Tel Aviv right? He's right in his element.

not only that

he also won european championship with russia, beating on the way parker's france and gasol's spain in spain, what is considered one of the biggest upset in eurobasket

...they are setting screens and picks for Curry, but Delly is getting through and denying Curry the ball! That's why the smart money on next games adjustment by GS is to let Curry BRING THE BALL UP himself! This would force Delly to guard Curry full court and all 24 seconds of the clock! (He's probably already covering Curry in the back court, to some extent!) I'm just repeating what an NBA guard said on "First Take" this morning on what adjustment GS needs to make to get Curry more "open" looks and less "J.R. Smith" forced shot looks! He keeps throwing up those off balanced forced shots from beyond the 3 point line, he ain't ever going to make an impact in this series! I know and have seen him hit some of those....but sooner or later, it's gonna catch up with you...know what I mean, Vern?

...don't know much about the guy and his coaching career, but whatever he's doing in this series....is working!

But what is it that delly is doing that is working so well against curry?
