2015 NBA Playoffs

Can we finally stop w/ the Lebron Jordan comps now?

In the fourth quarter of big games Jordan instilled a dreadful fear on his opponents and their fans. While his teammates and fans had the ultimate confidence in the timeliness in which he would draw his dagger. Lebron just doesn't do that.

I remember the nervousness of my team having the lead and the ball. I remember being crazy upset when Jordan took it from Malone but not being all that surprised. I remember knowing, despite all the hoping I could manage despite nearly breaking my fingers by crossing them so hard, that the game was over before Jordan had even made his move.

Yeah, he pushed off but that's kinda a moot point when discussing Lebron.

Iggy was hands down the MVP. Who had to guard Lebron most of the game?

For someone like Hack, who seems to champion the importance of defense, how do you question Iggy getting the MVP?

I'm sorry, did Iggy shut down Lebron? Did I miss something?

Wasn't Lebron actually being talked about as possibly winning the Finals MVP regardless if he was on the losing team?

Didn't Lebron pit up ridiculous numbers in this finals? What am I missing here?

Lbj was the best player in the finals. No question. Should have won the mvp. No warrior really deserved it.

39% FG shooting. 35 ppg on 32 shots. So yeah, he shut him down as much as humanely possible.

35.8/13.4/8.8 .398%

2 triple doubles
3 40+ pts

no matter how you slice it that's a great stat line. yes he struggled shooting the ball. his efficiency took a major hit because he played too many minutes. and honestly, iggy did a good job on bron, but it was more bron than iggy. bron's shots been off all playoffs long. he is not a great shooter, but he routinely shot 50% because he had many easy shots and got to the rim.

lol. a guy who averaged 36pts did not get shut down. in the 2nd half last night, bron flat out missed makable shots because he had no legs. most of his shots were just short.

did iggy contain bron? yes he did somewhat. but you don't shut down somebody who attempted 32 shots. that's ridiculous. bron got whatever he wanted on the court. he just missed alot of shots. shutting down is bron is like limiting him to 10 shot attempts.

IMO he put up one of the all time great performances. only time in history who led in scoring, rebounding, and assists on both teams. i never was a bron guy, but now i respect him more than ever before.

gs got really lucky tho. no okc, beverley, injured conley, no irving.

yes. but

1. okc - let's all face it. they don't beat warriors healthy or not healthy. and we should all admit that team has all the potential, but just can't put it all together. somebody is always hurt and they just don't have right coaching staff and role players.

2. conley - IMO, it would've been a tough series, but warriors depth and smart coaching would just wear them out

3. beverly - come on man. beverly ain't stopping nobody. even if beverly neutralizes curry, rockets still have harden - league's newest choke artist

i think only spurs would've challenged warriors in the west. and yes, if cavs had kyrie and love it would've been whole lot more interesting. but this warriors team was the best team all year. IMO, they would've been a favorite against any team.

HE LOST! That should automatically eliminate him from even getting a vote. Also his efficiency was horrible. There are a **** load of players that could average 35 points on 32 shots. Don't get me wrong he was the best player in the series. But he lost. The MVP stands for Most Valuable Player, not best player. To be MVP winning should be required. Otherwise how valuable were you? You put up stats for the lesser team, that would be like saying the best player on the worst NBA team should have a shot at regular season MVP.
