My thinking was this. Suns are a legit chance to stop the formation of a super team in a Boston. Suns are challenging the Nets for the #1 pick. Boston owns the Nets pick.

In the grand scheme of things I'd rather the Suns get Fultz or Ball than the Celtics. So, I agree with this.

The Timberwolves have gotten Wiggins, KAT, and Dunn the past three years and they still suck. I'm not worried. Keep them away from Boston.

Let Boston get them. Let them make the choice of winning now/resigning current stars or playing rookies. Hayward isn't leaving cuz of a draft pick. I'd be more worried if they didn't get Fultz and were able to trade the pick to get Butler. Hayward much more likely to leave then if you are basing his choice solely around joining most talented team.
