2016-17 Hype Train Playoff Chase!!!

LaMarcus Aldridge is out indefinitely with a heart arrhythmia. They are very vulnerable now. I don't see them falling from the #2 seed but they aren't getting the #1. Seeds 3, 6, 7 are the most favorable now, imo. We need to stay out of the 4/5. Is that going to happen? Probably not.

Holy crap!

Seriously, if no LMA, no Durrant the path to the WCF just got a little easier.

I hope the guy is going to be okay. Is heart arrhythmia something that clears up and is no longer a concern? Doesn't sound like it but I have no idea.

I am guessing you don't get to watch many games and base your opinion purely on stats.

When you lose an argument based on the facts, do you always make **** up about the person who has destroyed your argument? (I have league pass and watch every game)

Agreed Bulletproof.

West just got a whole lot easier. #3 seed is even more attractive. Ow! Go Jazz!!

but anyone who watches games knows we have a problem playing down to our competition, and that's what I was referring to.

May I suggest that you watch some non-Jazz games, or at least occasionally read the scoreboard? Every good team brings extra juice against top teams and tends to cruise against weaker opponents. Go look at other top teams and count the bad teams that beat them (and those who lost in close game). You'll learn something, my little bitch monkey.

We have to go down to 6 or 7. We're obviously better vs houston than vs clippers. Plus, 6th or 7th seed means avoiding gsw. We have to lose games. Seriously, we have to...

I'm not buying that, homecourt advantage thing, we're not going to beat clippers. Even if we do, warriors will sweep us.
San antonio is not a contender or an elite team at all, especially without LMA.

With LMA out indefinitely with heart condition, they only rely on Kawhi with an older Pau and Tony Parker. I think they're an overrated team. I think houston is more dangerous than san antonio.

Even without LMA they are one of the best teams in the NBA. They have prove it year after year. I don't agree with the view that the Jazz has to lose on purpose to avoid a particular team.
