Thompson has the 12th highest three point percentage all-time. Ray Allen is 37th. Thompson is a better defender than Ray ever was too. TBH, Thompson is so flashless that I think it hurts his overall public perception. Dude is really ****ing good and maybe a top 15 player in the league.

Idk. I always remember Allen being a pretty good defender. He for sure was with the Celtics. I think they're similarly defensively in that they're not elite on-ball defenders, but really good team defenders.
So the joke picks should fit right in!

Have to consider who Thompson plays with too. I just think Jesus Shuttlesworth is better.
Thompson also played with Curry his entire career and probably had more spot-up and easier 3 opportunities.

Maybe. But Allen also played with Rashard Lewis and someone else good for a few years. Payton? He then went to the Bucks who were a solid playoff team. I just think Thompson is so quiet he's underappreciated. Maybe the most underrated guy in the league tbh.
A 20-year-old 7-foot prodigy, unanimous ROY with a 2-way game, excelling both inside and outside, athletic and long, 34% from 3, averages a 18 PPG, 10th in RPG (11.5 RPG), eight in BPG (1.7), and with a PER better than a litany of all-stars including Aldridge, Lillard, Griffin, P Gasol, Favors, DeRozan, Milsap, Butler, George and others. Does anyone doubt KAT is an allstar next year and years to come? Would you have taken 1-way defensive stud like Camby over a ROY such as Bird, Shaq or Duncan?
The Brow, Kawhi and KAT are versatile, long, athletic, 2-way elite superstars of the next decade, and they are all on one team (along with Dr J, Moses, Oscar, Walton, etc.... but I digress).
