Super surprised this guy is left when someone drafted Derrick "I shoot way too much because I still think it's 2010" Rose.
Didn't have a great shooting year last year, but is still one of the leading PG in defensive real plus minus and is a career 36% 3pt shooter who can distribute and play off ball a bit. I think he is due for a bit of a comeback year statistically in Miami and will benefit from being on a team that has spacing (Miami was 27th in 3pt% last year).

No, there have been many good defensive teams that ply big slow centers and do just fine. Golden State and San Antonio had some of the best defenses in the NBA with Duncan and Bogut, two guys who can't show on PNRS. My team is long enough 1-5 to defend anyone. I also have Thompson as a back-up to vary defensive play styles if needed.

when your staring front court is Durant and BLopez, then you can't spout off about defense. lol. Or rebounding
Durant is a very good defender when locked it. Did you not see what they did in the playoffs with Durant at the 4? Did you watch basketball in the playoffs?

But why doesn't he play tough D all the time... like a professional who gets paid to do??
