2016 Free Agent Targets: Allen Crabbe

He is nothing like Crabbe. He is a tall PG who can't shoot and isn't good enough to be a PG in the NBA.

Their only similarity is they both played at Cal.

Please refrain from quoting ncolorado. I have him on ignore and enjoy not seeing a word he types.

Both are long defenders is why. Crabbe wasn't known as a shooter at Cal. Sorry real bball iq is to hard for you to understand

The Bazed god > Crabbe in my book.

Yes I think Bazemore is better to but he will cost much more and will be looking for a team where he can start. Not saying we shouldn't attempt to pursue, but I don't think he would come here unless we drastically overpay.

I think they match any offer on Crabbe, he's a perfect contrast to Aminu. They'll have tons of room to do it..

Meyers Leonard and Mo Harkless are probably more gettable

What about James Ennis?? He's also restricted but would be cheaper.. 45% from 3 this season.. Turns 26 this summer..

He finished the season guns blazing with a career high 29 and then followed it with 28..

Well that's the point. I both want to sign him, but at the same time I also want to make Portland pay as much as possible.

I think these kind of things are important to do against conference rivals. It's what they did to us with Millsap and Matthews.

Perhaps I'm backtracking but whats the urgency to do this with Ingles shooting .386 from 3 this season and under contract for $2,100,000 next season??

I like him but it will cost too much to get him. I think you'd have to come in around the 12 M per year to make them uncomfortable and even then I think they match. I'd rather get a guy like Courtney Lee who is comparable imo and won't cost as much and is also unrestricted.

I would jump in the market for Crabbe and also for Evan Fournier, who is a 46/40/84 shooter with a quick release and easy above-the-break range.

This is who I was thinking of. Gotta be pretty cheap. Like 6-7M per I would guess. We just gotta make sure he's cool with coming off the bench. Feel like he's started a lot in this league in Orlando and Memphis. I also don't know how good of a defender he is.

That is absolutely untrue. I remember Crabbe coming out, he was touted as a good shooter who wasn't that athletic. Hell, I think he shot 40% from 3 on a good amount of attempts his first couple years. I know stats are hard to understand though.
