What's new

2017 Annual JazzFanz Current Players NBA Draft

He was healthy last season. They just shut him down to tank.

He was definitely hurt for parts of it though. I remember watching a game in which he got his legs/knees hurt half way through a game, then the physio had him examined in the locker room, he later emerged from the tunnel cheered on by the Sixers fan and played a bit, then he was shut down permanently again after that.

Not sure how hurt he was but the whole situation was really hard to read.

The Sixers were something like +54 with Embiid on the court this year. Think about that. The Sixers.

Without him, they were like -554 or something.

I don't think u know what shutting someone down means. They rested him due to being cautious because of injury. He even had some injury stints.
He had some minor issues but if they wanted or needed him to play he could have. They wanted to lose games and he was going to win too much for them.

No reason not to be over cautious when you have a guy with an injury past and you are trying to tank.

They shut him down because they didn't want to risk anything and to tank.

All reports are he is fully healthy and has no lingering issues.

Not sure you understand 76ers level of tanking.

So? Still has to be on the court putting up best center in the league numbers before I state as fact that he is one of the best centers in the league.

Offense isn't the only part of basketball.

He's elite defensively.
Duh. I put his 3.5 blocks in there (an amazing number) and rebounds, and said based off when he was on court last season I would think he will PROBABLY be a top 3 center in the league.

Embiid's FG% is deceiving because he shoots 3's fish. His TS% was 58.4%.
I acknowledged that in my post.
Fwiw his 2 point percentage is poor for a center as well.
