You had a great, great guy to pair with Gobert.
The thing that sucks is people are going to kill me for Harden being a bad defender and probably not Wiggins, when the reality is Harden was actually a solid defender this year. Not that he can stop anyone, but he learnt how to play within the system and be as much of a weak link.

A) Break out year averages 20ppg
B) Injured/inconsistent and replaced in starting lineup by DM.

I dont know about him getting better on defense this year. Stats say he got worse:
2014-2015 -0.16
2015-2016 -0.98
2016-2017 -1.22
Im not the biggest believer in defensive stats for individuals but its not a great sign.
Harden isnt as bad at defense as others though like Lillard and IT and maybe even Curry.
I do think Wiggins will improve this year on the efficiency side. He will not be asked to do as much on a crappy team. Plus an improved KAT will help. They will also have better spacing. But he is losing easy points that Rubio set up for him. I do think this is the year he starts playing defense. He will also start caring more if they are actually winning.
What stat are you referring to?
His DBPM (the most highly regarded single defensive stat by most) was 1.5 this year.
