So for example, if Jordan's stats go down playing next to Beverly/Teo, should we go by that, or try to assume what he would do if playing with Harden? Just a hypothetical.
Bro, I just got up. It's 6 freaking 37 am here in Bangkok. Give me a break man.
We are projecting how the players do next season. We are also building teams that would work well together.
Now, just because one player is paired with a better player than he will have on his actual team doesn't mean he won't regress next season.
Does that make sense?
If you draft DeAndre Jordan you're getting the DeAndre Jordan that is playing next year with Beverley/Teodosic.
Now, that DeAndre Jordan is playing with James Harden in this competition.
So then by that logic, we shouldn't imagine what Andre Drummond would do with a better supporting cast/PG around him?
But isn't he the same player that played with Chris Paul? And Harden creates at a similar level to Paul, so why wouldn't we expect him to play at a similar level as to what he did with Paul?
I feel like with this logic, team construct doesn't matter.
Is it my turn?
