Payton was only 5'4", they just listed him over 6 feet. Pierce is almost close enough to today's game to matter. Almost. And don't forget the Admiral was soft and weak and couldn't hang with today's super-fast game and ultra-athletic monster centers, like Lopez and Adams and Whiteside. Weak players that played in weak era in a weak league. You better get some more real modern players. Durant helps, but you need one more that people can remember from 2017 or you are toast.

Dont forget that the previous eras were so physical. Hand checking made it impossible to score.
