Biggest problem with this trade is that Royce is better than Simmons. Jazz don't need him.

He's not there to replace Royce. In the 2nd unit, Exum at 1, Simmons at 2, Royce at 3. Crowder is probably starting so we need more quality depth.

Wait, if Bosh makes the HOF it's because of his time in Toronto scoring 23ppg? I agree with a ton of what you post, but if you don't think Kevin Love or Chris Bosh were helped by winning titles alongside LeBron James, I just don't know what to tell you.

Al Jefferson, Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay and other guys have had monster years on irrelevant teams. None of those guys are even considered for the HOF. Give them a couple titles, and there is a conversation.

You’re dense. You said Bosh was only going because of Lebron. That’s not necessarily true. He could’ve stayed in Toronto his whole career and made it based purely on numbers.

The problem is Simmons is very much a below replacement level player and wouldn't likely be much better than whoever we draft with the 21st pick in their first year.
