Wonder if that means both teams made their final offers
edit: lol
No.
That’d be deja vu.
You’re bad at this.
Because Pistons don't have expiring contracts. They can get a first out of Utah now and figure out how to use their capspace next year to get back more assets from a different team, potentially.I'm not sure why Memphis would choose the Jazz offer over the Pistons. The Pistons 2019 first round pick is going to be way better than the Jazz pick.
Going after another player similar to Conley a few years from now:Thats not what Deja Vu is.
Deja Vu is like when you see a black cat walk past you, then you see the same black cat walk by again in the same direction just a few minutes later. Indicating that something isnt right.
a feeling of having already experienced the present situation.

I'm guessing both offers hinge on Utah or Detroit including Allen/Kennard.Yeah outside of the pick DET's offer is kinda booty

The thing is that if Detroit trades for Conley, they might be able to move up in the standings all the way to 6th in the East, not far from our seeding in the West. Detroit's pick is more likely to be better than ours, but it's not a guarantee (and I would't say waaay better). Also, there are other pieces which we don't know much about (besides Rubio)
