Forget Gallo, I’d give up our first for Williams.
Now we're talking! Let's go get Lou Will!!!

You mocked me for suggesting we send a similar trade package for Harris because you said Harris wasn't available. Don't hide behind the Miami pick. Own you were wrong and move on.
If we are careful, we bring back the same exact flawed roster next year.Agreed to a point. As it stands, Utah can make the room with a snap of their finger at any time, so urgency was never an issue. Utah doesn't need to let Favors expire and I doubt Utah let's Rubio walk away unless there's a better option. Utah needs to make improvements to the roster and assets are a good thing, but they have to be careful about it.
Anyone with common sense understands that, for the right deal, no player in the NBA is truly untouchable. When someone says "player A is not available", it always comes with the implied "for anything we can/would be willing to trade". I'm sure if we offered Gobert for Harris, the Clippers would have been all over that.
I think our most likely move becomes a desperation move now...
Kevin Love.
Forget Gallo, I’d give up our first for Williams. Maybe Williams and Beverley. Then trade for Niko. I think we’re going to be left out in the cold, though. We don’t have much of value.
Its okay, I know its normal to bash any idea I present and then when a similar deal happens elsewhere there is some excuse why we couldn't get in the conversation.
I think Philly gave too much. I like Harris, but between the picks and Shamet (who will be in the running for runnerup ROY now), this was a huge gamble. Does make Philadelphia instant contenders. I agree that Butler will not be back with Philly next season.
