Mike Conley is married to a white woman. So the white aspect of Utah *might* not be the turn off for him.
Man, I've been to Memphis. There is no reason in the world to take that place over SLC, none.WTF... why would he do that?
Is Devin Harris available or is he busy shooting the next fast and furious movie?Guys, we aren't getting anybody named Harris anytime soon.

overall talent level of this year's draft isn't exciting for teams looking for guards/centers. but it is loaded at the forward spot, which fills our needs pretty handily.I've normally hated how we've dangled our first round pick away the last few years, but the upcoming draft doesn't excite me. Fine packaging it for a proven commodity.
I would actually love to see us get uber-aggressive and go after someone like Aaron Gordon.
I'd love to just have Lavar Ball.Who else, in some sadistic way, would actually like to see Lonzo Ball come to Utah just so Lavar can visit these forums and be able to read how much him and his overrated sons suck in person?
Blake/Drummond don't have much "long term" ahead of them though
Why? I mean, where the hell has cap space gotten us? The answer is nowhere.
Let's just say hypothetically, we trade Favors for Biyombo and a future 1st from Charlotte. So we have up to $15 million this summer in cap room because Biyombo makes $17 next year. So freaking what, we still have the 1st and enough cap space to sign the kind of players who want to come to Utah.
If we are going to get a "star" to put next to Gobert and Mitchell, we have to either draft that guy or trade for that guy. Our draft picks suck so we either need more of them or make another perfect pick. Re-treading Favors over and over while staying mediocre is just stupid. Get a future 1st that allows us to get into a trade conversation down the road with the next Tobias Harris type player.
I feel the sameI've been all in on Conley, but Favors, Rubio and picks is way to much.
You know, it’s fine that you don’t think Utah hasn’t hurt itself in the eyes of nba players.
But I tend to believe that concerns over racism, being a small market, and having some of the most backwards laws relating to things that matter to most mainstream people in the country probably doesn’t do us any favors.
If the Conley rumors on not wanting to come here are true, I really wouldn’t blame him.
And I think it also lends credence to the concerns I have over our ability to sign young and productive free agents.
There is a long and strong black history there, son.Man, I've been to Memphis. There is no reason in the world to take that place over SLC, none.
