Lin is a guy we should be interested in.

If he didn't have such a big contract (even though its expiring), I would want him. Really hard to make those salaries match up without giving up too much.

What the Wizards want for Beal...

The Wizards reportedly want two first-round picks, a young player and another player in return for Beal, the only healthy player in their All-Star backcourt and the one with the most favorable contract.

So let's break it down: Wiz want:

1st round pick - we give 2019
1st round pick - we give 2021
Young Player - Exum (they just said young player )
Another Player - Favors

Is that fair? Is it what Washington wants? Is that something we would/should do?

He still can’t finish at the rim

He got fouled on a few attempts against raptors that weren't called. But saying that he actually has been finishing quite well. But for sure he can get better. Dantes attributes are so elite. He could push the jazz over the top.

We should do that yesterday... but that won't get it done. I think they want a young good player (likely on a rookie deal). They will do much better than that and have no reason to panic.

Not sure how that is backwards... I'd want to add Lin and retain either Ricky or Dante. Lin has been good this year... if he's healthy he's quite useful.

He shot about 57% at the rim in the month of December, he had a dud against the Raptors in the 2nd half but in general he's been slightly above league average around the rim in December.

I think you guys don't realise that Dante has such elite attributes and improving fast. When he finishes better cause he is improving fast. He gets to the basket whenever he wants to. There is only like probably 5-10 other people in the league to do it. Just think when he gets better finishing it's all over. They either go to him or he throw the lob to gobert or passes to other open shooters.

I would be gambling on Gobert pushing Batum more due to their National team history.

Batum and Parker have a longer National team history, but it hasn't improved Batum's play.

Batum is a hell no from me, that contract is worse than Hayward's contract. At least Hayward has potential to return to all star form, Batum looks washed even back in his natural position this year.

Due to injuries and him being the most raw prospect in the history of the nba, he still has plenty of room to grow, and he may just need to be thrown into a bigger role. He needs a years experience of trial and error to get it.
