I like basketball more than drama. I'm too old school I think.
NBA Target audience is younger and likes the drama and loves guys like Westbrook, Draymond, boogie, harden, etc, who wears what shoes, and likes the drama of player movement more than the game of basketball.
NBA just giving their target audience what they want I guess. Can't blame them.

BTW... it seems like this is posturing by KP in order to make Dallas offer him the MAX QO!

MAX QO is different than the regular QO. It's essentially a 5 year max deal if Porzingis signs his QO.

Porzingis was going to sign a 1 year QO so maybe the Knicks only had him for one more year. The Knicks side of this is actually borderline brilliant.

Hardaway and Lee combine to make almost $30 next year and Hardaway makes $18 after that.

And if true we'd be contenders immediately as presently constructed. Especially if we're basically only giving up Rubio.
 
We need to take some bad contracts and get Winslow from Miami. That team isn't going anywhere and maybe they get inspired by New York's dump.
 
Also... The Knicks wanted to be players for Kyrie, Klay, Kawhi, etc this summer? Yeah no that's not gonna happen. Not a chance in hell lol. Welcome to the land of never ending suck Knicks fans.

Fair enough, but you root for a team that plays great fundamental basketball.

Everything else you can either ignore completely, or just follow the news and players you care about. If the kids like the other stuff, that's fine. It's great for the game overall.
 
If we trade Exum+Rubio for Conley I'm cool with the trade. Anything more than that? mehhhh.... We need to keep Favors around to try and trade him for a stretch 4.
