Probably BS, but whatever

Glenn Robinson III, one of the top wings remaining on the market, has drawn interest from the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and Utah Jazz, league sources told HoopsHype.

Good opinion piece on Rudy.

"If he were to gain the super-max, the Jazz could be too financially hamstrung to build a title team with and around him. As important as he is to the Jazz’s overall success — think about what their defense would have looked like last season without him — his skills are not comprehensive, not universal enough to justify that kind of expenditure.

The solution to the problem is for the Jazz to offer Gobert more than any other team can pay him, but to not inflate that number to the point where it kills the goose that lays the golden eggs."

I feel Rudy tho. He just watched Donovan bend the franchise over and get w/e he wanted in his contract. Rudy is the better player and has impacted winning more.
Donovan was the main reason we beat OKC. Donovan was the main reason we made it to 7 games vs Denver.

But yeah, keep up with that false narrative that Rudy impacts winning more. He doesn't come playoff time.

From a business perspective, giving Don a supermax is a no brainer. He actually builds the brand. Rudy doesn't near as much.

Rudy impacts winning more. It's a fact. You can argue whatever future thing you want, but the team is competitive because of Rudy.

Playoffs Cy. Playoffs.

Favors was arguably as important as Rudy the last time we won a playoff series. You know who was more important than both........

The guy who just got the max.

You remove Rudy and we probably don't even make the playoffs last year. For me, both are equally important. Donovan shines in a playoff setting because he gets the ball more (and well, he is almost unstoppable offensively) . On the other hand, I don't even want to imagine our record without Rudy. Yikes.

Lol. You’re so dumb. The jazz don’t make the playoffs the year we beat OKC without Gobert, and I’m not sure we even are a playoff team if we don’t have Gobert.

this team isn’t elite without Gobert, and are even less recognizable than they are now.

LoPo don’t be a ****ing idiot. Mitchell owns at least some of his stardom to Gobert.

Gobert is the guy that gives Mitchell a chance to be the man at the end of the game. Without Gobert there is no franchise for Mitchell
There is very little glory for what Gobert does. Mitchell is what’s best for business because of Gobert. Our identity in winning games is Gobert.

as currently constructed, both Gobert and Mitchell need each other to be successful, one thing is clear IMO, we are a playoff team without Mitchell. I’m not sure that’s true with Rudy not here
