2020 Jazzfanz all time Jazz draft, and renaming of TJF Sweepstakes!!!

I don't think it would be that confusing. Most people aren't likely going to want to do it. Make it first come, first serve. Nobody is put at a disadvantage by another person dumping a player and going to the pool of undrafted players.

But I'm game for more rounds as well. I believe my proposal would be much easier and it doesn't contradict any specific rule or provision outlined in the beginning.
I could see it creating a loop. Let's say I like the guy you released and pick him up and someone else likes the player I released and it goes on till I believe that the last released player is better than the one I picked up initially.

Or if we void any released player than it's not much fun either.

But I agree drafting for 8 man rotation is not ideal. Not many players that can play multiple positions.

On the topic of things we've never done before, creating a roster with 8 players fundamentally complicates how one can create a believable roster from a positional standpoint.

How many playoff lineups actually go more than 8 .... maybe 9 at most deep?

I mean a team doesn’t go into a playoff series just with 8-9 active players. And they sometimes end up playing 10-11 depending on situation. Fouls, injuries, matchups.

Sure, but in a perfect world they'd roll with 8 - 9 guys. Can't take into account fouls, and all that bull **** ... especially considering the players everyone is taking the last like 6 rounds. It's just irrelevant.

Well in case we add a round or we can grab an undrafted player, then I call dibs on Jay Humphries.

Let me know when you find this perfect world.
