2021 NBA Draft Preview (new thread)

Johnny Juzang is going back to UCLA. Apparently he wasn't looking too great in workouts/scrimmages.

My draft dream would be to trade down with okc for 34 and 36 if Thor is t available at 30. Then hopefully you can get two of Wieskamp/Christopher/Roko/Grimes/Vrenz/McBride

I'd keep #30 and see if we can buy into the 2nd round. Pels, Thunder or Pistons should be willing to move off of one of their picks. That said, the Pels or Thunder might do the deal you're describing if they want to be sure to grab someone at #30.

Jason Preston is another interesting name. I dont know a lot yet, but stats and body wise he's pretty comparable to Lonzo Ball.

I don’t watch college hoops anymore, really, so I don’t know much about the prospects, but two names that intrigue me, and not sure why they aren’t more hyped on mock drafts.

Scottie Lewis and Makur Maker.

Lewis is a 6-5 guard that seems athletic and looks like he could be a monster on defense.

Makur has unreal physical attributes, 7footer with the skill set of a guard who is a decent 3 pt shooter.

I’m not in this thread all that often, so sorry if they’ve been discussed. Will they be in the jazz range? Are they good? Tell me.

i like this idea but why would OKC want a 4th first-round pick unless they use their other 3 picks to move up. More likely they would be willing to give up one of their seconds for cash and a future second.

Why would you ask a question you answered yourself?

They would be consolidating two worse assets to get a higher one. Then they could use that to further consolidate or do w/e. I think that kind of trade is something pretty logical and has historical precedent.
