Why did Memphis draft Santi Aldama, though. They could pick him at 40 or trade down or buy a pick later and pick him. I haven't seen him much high on mocks or big boards.

They moved up for absolutely no reason. Both guys they took would likely still be there at their original draft spots.

Don't know how he lasts to 40, but I never saw him falling this far to begin with. Jazz are playing with fire with this ****.

And neither team is in a salary crunch, so, not really relevant.

Let's just say that I would rather have Santi Aldama on a 2nd pick contract than a first.
