it's funny you don't realize people are making **** up about wilt. and the stories get wilder as time goes on.

i mean, you forgot to mention the time the trainer counted 53 blocks in the first quarter. 27 blocks in the first half, 48 inch vertical - none of this is verified anywhere. it's just people making **** up and it gets repeated so often it becomes "truth"

That argument is so bogus. Wilt won two titles in an era when half of the Hall of Famers played for one team.

Isn't LeBron a top 3 player of all time? He's only got 4. Why? He came up against two of the best dynasties in NBA history - GS (4 titles) and SA (5 titles).

Sure, maybe Wilt could have "tried harder", but it wasn't the same then as it is now in terms of compensation and national attention.
