Are you implying that my choice to follow the rules is "wrong" while yours is "right"? Just make a rule that all picks have to happen in 4 hours or something if that's the biggest concern. We've had years when some people at one point or another took most of the time available and no one was out anything as a result. It's a long off-season. What's your hurry?

Perhaps it would be reasonable to say that most picks have to be taken within X amount of time, but that each participant cant have Y number of selections that take Z time?

I'm not saying that is the solution, simply that it seems like a reasonable compromise. Given your way of doing it, it could conceivably take us up to 160 days, if everyone followed suit. Does that seem like it fits within your "long offseason?"
