2023 annual Jazzfanz all time NBA draft

Nothing major. Just a slight twist on the current era rule. Essentially, we’d allow trading (like we used to) and you can pick whoever you want whenever you want, but each team can only have a maximum of two players from each of the 5 eras we’ve been using at any given time.

It still limits everyone to having the same number of modern players vs. old time era players, but it would also allow you to pair up greats from the same era if the opportunity presents itself.

I like that a lot. I also like the idea of we must have a 60’s and 70’s era too instead of just 79 and prior. And a 2010’s…that’s seven selections and three others from whatever eras.

So that’s:
60’s
70’s
80’s
90’s
00’s
10’s
20’s

And then three other players from whenever you want.

Or!!!!! We could do one draft pick from each draft starting in 1954.

That’s 70 drafts. With 14 participants, we would each get five players, each one from a different draft year. Then five other players from whatever era we want.

We could do this in the legends draft after the current draft.
