Team B:

My opponent has put together an interesting team but all teams have weaknesses. To start: Rudy Gobert is on the decline and Embiid will eat him alive. Bam and Rudy usually both play center, I’m not sure how well that tandem will work on court together. The bench is very weak on defense, with Josh Giddey and Bojan Bogdanovic notably poor defenders. CJ’s never been a standout on defense and Jonas Valancianus has mobility issues. So we will just go after them relentlessly.

Team A. They got more dogs. SGA beat player here.

Rudy might be on the decline, but I like him guarding Embiid, especially if he has Jonas/Bam to help him.

Team B has awful shooting, so it will be easy for his bigs to xlog the paint.

I thought Embiid was the best player here.

Team A is amazing defensively, but I don't think they have enough firepower to beat team B.

These teams would have a tough time scoring on each other, barely any shooting on both sides. Having said that, I love the bench for team B and I think they have better role players that would step into the starting lineup.

Team B and I don't think it is very close. I don't like the fit of Gobert and Bam at all.

In what world does team B have awful shooting? Everyone on that team outside of Jakob can shoot the ball.

Only 4 players on that roster shot above NBA average from 3 last season (Jrue, Reeves, Quickley and Harris). Only one of them in the starting 5.

They put all the shooters on the bench. This is about the worst starting 5 you can put around Embiid stylistically.

Jrue struggles intensely on offense and has huge stretches of awful playoff shooting.

Brown is an OK shooter who thrives more off spacing (which he doesn't have with this starting unit).

Paolo and Gordon both can't shoot.

Embiid is a mediocre 3pt shooter.

Team A should start Bojan. On that team he would feast, and the D on the starting 5 at multiple positions would easily cover his shortfalls. Then Bam off the bench behind Rudy is devastating. Never without a rim running strong rim defender. Makes them much stronger imo. With Bam and Rudy together and Butler and SGA both at their best operating going towards the rim there just isn't enough spacing. But just that one tweak with Bojan on the perimeter and the entire look changes.

Embiid is not a mediocre 3pt shooter. Prior to this last season he had 2 straight season over 37%

Jrue is a rock solid 3pt shooter.

Brown is a career 36.5% 3pt shooter and has had 3 seasons over 38%

Gordon is nothing special from 3 but has to be at least guarding out there.

Banchero sucked from 3 last year but I would put money on him improving considerably in that department this season.

Off the bench they have 4 solid 3pt shooters to provide plenty of spacing. The roster lacks elite 3pt shooters but to act like he has a bunch of non shooters is stupid. The only guy on the roster can't shoot is Jakob. Based on Paulo still be unproven as a 3pt shooter at this point though I would probably switch up the starting lineup a little with either Reaves or Williams in place of Paulo and moving Gordon to the 4.

Every year Jrue crumbles in the playoffs as a shooter.

I don't think either team has much legs to stand on as far as shooting goes. Shai+Jimmy+Bam+Gobert....all amazing players but they don't/can't shoot. I love the guys team B can put in the game off the bench though. Some of them should probably be starting. I prefer the top end talent on team A more, but the fit and bench is so much better on team B.

I was clearly better at 3 starting spots. And Rudy, Bam and Valanciunas would cause enough issues for Embiid.

Jazzfanz is wild.
I just didn't like the way your starting lineup fit together. You have 2 bigs in Rudy and Bam that don't stretch the floor and then you pair them with a sf in Butler that is a mediocre 3pt shooter.
