I don't love either team, but I'm leaning toward team E. Team G is a little stuffy, and too many places for the ball to stick and for the offense to stagnate.

Team G has 4 legit playmakers, as in some of the best the league has seen. Payton, Doncic, Haliburton and Bird. Wow. Shooting is also not an issue, as is star power and sheer force of will. Bird was the ultimate competitor. The only one that can match him on sheer competitiveness on team E was Magic. This would be a fun series but I have to go with G.

All I’m saying is team E hasthe Larry bird stopper in Micheal Cooper best defender he’s ever played agains… birds words not mine

No such thing as a Larry bird stopper but he definitely did a good job on him. He got eaten up once in the finals but the other 2 years they met he held him below his season numbers.

Notice that team G has both Bird AND McHale. They played together for a long time, I think that definitely adds to their effectiveness.

Is there anyone on team E vulnerable to head games? Because that's another thing Larry brings.

I’d like to see Luka at the two trying to guard tmac who is supposed to be at the 2
I'd was going to talk smack about Luka's defense, because the impression is that he doesn't bother with it. But he's actually pretty decent, at least by the numbers.

So Yao is guarding HOrford at the 3pt line?
Just like in a normal game if a guy is struggling to contain someone you switch things up. In this case you bring in Sabonis or Porzingis. It would also be helpful if we knew what year of Horford we are talking about because he didn't shoot the 3 ball his first 8 years in the league.
