I don’t really see it as a bad pick. Risky yes, but in most years he might’ve been the first pick. I’m guessing he went third because Hornets already have their star pg of the future. It wouldn’t shock me to see him put up 20 and 6-8 ast

I don't think Scoot is that bad of a pick. He's at least played professionally the last two seasons and should be a competent defender (relative to rookies)

I expect him to look really good from the get go and win ROY. If Lillard is gone to start the season then I think 18pts and 8asts a game is a pretty reasonable expectation for him. I also think he will be solid defensively.
