That’s who I would’ve taken if we hadn’t made a deal. Those were my top two targets at #5. Biggest concerns with KD are health related, but if he’s healthy the whole season he’s a beast.

My top tier of players was Jokic, Doncic, Antetokounmpo and Tatum.

When I looked at my board, I think my top target at #32 will still be there at #40. Any lower than that, and I probably would’ve passed.

I told him that I should probably counter and haggle, but I honestly don’t think the cost was outrageous and I also don’t want to hold things up for everyone else. Made sense for me to just go get my guy.

Yeah, they both had a similar value to me, so figured I'd try to get more value later in the draft.

Yeah. It was a good job of leveraging your position by just taking BPA. I would’ve gotten one, but definitely preferred Tatum a bit more.

At the moment I think KD is still a better player than Tatum but there isn't much in it and KD is 34 this year I think. Its interesting that most of us seem to think that Doncic is a top three player in the league. (I strongly considered him but in the end went with a proven winner and leader.)

I wanted Giannis cuz I prefer to build around two way players but Luka is more complete than Giannis on the offensive end… I think if he’s in shape and serious to start the year he’s the mvp this year.
