Hawks select GG Jackson, adding athleticism and dynamic scoring to their otherwise stagnant frontcourt. GG develops behind John Collins, who finally gets moved in the next year.

Hawks already are committed to their backcourt, as well as Hunter, Bogdanovic and last year's 1st-rd pick AJ Griffin, so they add a piece to their frontcourt, hoping that Quin Snyder can help unlock GG's potential.
