2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I think the OKC deal hints that they may actually try and sign someone with their cap space this year. They have a pretty full roster so only adding one rookie is preferable if you actually are going to sign someone.

If kobe would have played college ball then maybe him lol. Did iverson have many assists in college?
edit: I looked up iverson. About 4.5 assists per game in his 32 minutes. better than i expected
Yeah... I don't think people realize just how hard it is to have 1 assist per 40 as a perimeter player. You almost have to be trying to not pass. Example, Hassan Whiteside who is one of the most famous non-passers in the league AND he's a big, not ball handler has over 1 in about half his seasons in the league.

Just like “it seems” like the Jazz absolutely killed it with the Westbrook trade. “To me”, adding that first round pick to their already massive 2027 haul could be huge when looking to make other trades down the road.
exactly. No one can really know until that pick conveys and we see how good the player is but we can all have opinions on it for sure.

My biggest fear with Cam is that his body falls apart and can only give you 20 games a year.
Strange think to worry about. I would worry about that with Wemby but not a dude who is a 6 foot 7 235 pound beast of an 18 year old. Physically dude is exactly what you would want. A prototype.
