Holy $#!+. After reading pages and pages of people reviewing Cy's Stan history, it'll be a relief when the Jazz deliver Black/Dick to the fans next week.
Too much imoHere's a hypothetical... You can have any 2 of the consensus 4-8(Whitmore, Walker, Black, Amen, Ausar), but you have to give up #9, #16, LAL pick, 2025 CLE pick(unprotected), 2025 MIN pick(unprotected)
Q1: do you do it?
Q2: who are the 2 players you want to get?
Shows the Jazz taking Ausar, Bufkin and Podz.

nope. there is no guarantee any of those dudes are better than guys like hendricks, wallace, george, hood schifino, coulibaly, hawkins, leonard miller, bufkin, etc. in fact chances are very good any two of the guys i mentioned could be better than any two of 5 mentioned above. the price is simply too high for the odds of getting better players.
OK, lets say despite your reservations... the Jazz do those trades... who do you want us to get out of those players?Too much imo
That's a little tough. On the surface I want to say yes but Whitmore and Walker are my two favorite picks from that group but they both play the 3 and 4. With Lauri on the team you don't need both. So I think the best fit would be Jarace Walker and Amen Thompson. But you would really be banking on Amen developing a shot. That's a big question mark. If he doesn't, it also has the potential to really bog down the offense with Kessler. Here's a hypothetical... Q1 - No. It’s too much to pay. Although, I’d be happy with trading to move up for Whitmore or Walker. Here's a hypothetical... No. I would only want one of those players, I think they’re poor fits with one another. Also too steep. We also need homegrown talent at guard. Here's a hypothetical... Jarace and JHSOK, lets say despite your reservations... the Jazz do those trades... who do you want us to get out of those players?
Yeah but in the scenario we didn’t draft a point guard.No. I love the kid, but he’s a 2/3. I do like his ability to pass the ball, but he’s not a lead guard. He’s a guy that you draft to push Ochai for minutes and role. I see him as a potentially better version of Royce O’Neale. That’s more or less what I’d be hoping to get out of him.
would be an incredible draft. get one swing for the fences guys, and two really good combo guard prospects. the only thing i don't like about it is they are sorta play the same positions. i'd kinda like to walk away with a big, a wing and a guard, but i definitely wouldn't turn that draft down.Man, that is maybe the perfect draft. Only thing that would make it better is more picks which I think are gettable (would Charlotte sell a 2nd for straight cash?).
I’m feeling really comfortable with Bufkin and Podz right now.
and they are getting jhs even if they stay put - so you'd (not you specifically, because you already said the price is too high) essentially be giving up all that for jarace.Jarace and JHS
