2023 NBA Draft Megathread

How so? JHS has an elite mid-range game. Black has an elite rim game and will be able to put pressure on opposing bigs making easy baskets for Kessler on dump-offs. I think both will be serviceable from 3. Both have way better size than both Wallace and Bufkin.
Haha I'm not advocating Cason/Bufkin you guys. It was called "weird/fun" combo.

But a midrange game and a rim game get really hard when everyone on the other team are camped in the paint.

Yeah, I'm not an anti-Kobe guy (quite the opposite as I have him ranked 10th on my big board which is as high as anyone has ranked him according to the big board thread), but I dont like the idea of a smaller sized backcourt and if you have both Wallace and Bufkin you got two smaller backcourt players. They arent tiny or anything, but teams will be able to exploit their size in playoff settings. I'd prefer a backcourt that is a bit more switchable, and that's hard to do with two sub-200 lbs guards.
I SAID "WEIRD/FUN"!!!

Denver just won the championship with two starters shooting sub 35.7% from 3.

Is Bufkin a high level defender?
He plays hard and does some good things. He seemingly tries really hard and has some tools... those are teh first steps. He is light so likely has some trouble on that end in the nba... was good in college though.
