2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Also a bit ironic that the Giannis draft 4 spots below him MCW was drafted and now 10 years later we have Bilal/Black w/ Black expected to go higher.

Are we going to repeat the mistake of history again?

not to mention, we may disagree about his upside. i think most people are consistent as it relates to upside, it's the perception of upside that causes people to pull back a bit. i just question whether bilal's upside is that great. heck, i think the twins, who i have **** on all over this thread, have more upside that bilal. hence the reason i'd take ausar at 9 if he were available but would pass on bilal at 9.
Bilal just feels like throwing a dart a bit... like not sure who to take so give me the mystery bag. Now... DA has clearly done his homework here... so he has more and better info and I think that is CRITICAL with Bilal since he is such a fast riser.

I will say if you are going to swing... swing on wings with athleticism... so its not like we are taking a swing on a big, defensively limited combo guard, or something like that (if it happens).

It's funny to me we always talk about how important taking risk are and how you need high level talent, but when push comes to shove and you got a guy with huge upside staring you in the face you can't make the pick.
Just asking the Jazz to not put their car keys (#9) on the poker table.

Generally speaking, if it's a muscular issue then it's fine. If he has connective tissue or bone injuries in his spine it's a different situation.

I have nothing to support this claim but it just seems to be more muscular than that his SPINE has a chronic issue.
I had a buddy with a bad bulging disc and it was rough... couldn't sleep well... constant attention. I get it... but also... Wallace has that dawg in him and with dawg all things are possible. GIVE ME CASON!!!
