Just watched a full game of Jordan Hawkins, full game against Gonzaga in the tournament. He was nowhere near the focal point of the offense yet he hit shots all over the place and still scored 20 points while not monopolizing the ball whatsoever and was efficient. He was an opportunistic help defender and held his own on one on one defense. I wouldn’t say he’s a great defender, but he’s not a slouch.

If he’s picked 10-11 that’s in that range.

His range is 6-11.

Because the NBA 3 is likely new to him. Shoot where you know you are comfortable during the job interview.

I see a couple high school dads doing that with their boys and it always makes me laugh. They are more than capable shooting it from three.

I think there is a good chance Whitmore goes 4. Amen could slide to 6.

So really, how much is it gonna cost to move up? What does the 9 and the Lakers pick get us?

It's hard to say because several teams are probably going to try to move up. Shams mentioned Utah and OKC, but there's also Orlando. Also, the teams willing to move their picks are more likely looking for established players.

His size/length/athleticism looks to be in the same ballpark as Cade Cunningham. It's just that his skill level seems to fall a bit short.

I’m not exactly the biggest JHS fan, but I can agree that he’s one of the best high screen pick and roll players I’ve seen this year. It’s definitely the thing that stood out to me on his tape.

I find it hard to believe he’ll go that high or at the very least he has a chance to go that high.
