The more Mock Drafts I do the more I realize there are just very few scenarios in which there aren't at least 2 guys drafted that I really like.

I see no chance of Hawkins falling to 28, but love the 3 players listed. as going to the Jazz.

Jett Howard seems lower on draft boards than he should be... he got the early hype and just kinda kept sliding. I get the warts but prolly should be getting more love.

There are enough reports of this type of stuff to buy into Black being an A+ teammate and worker. All of these guys require some level of "gamble"... you just feel better betting on guys that are about the right things. Would be happy with Anthony at #9.

This is an absolute nightmare. My fandom would take a catastrophic hit. At the same time, I think there is less than 1% chance of this happening, and it won't be because those players have already been taken.

It just became more elite

never been a huge fan of black, but he's always been a guy i would be happy with at 9. high bball iq, high effort, defends, makes good decisions, etc. positional size and athleticism doesn't hurt. i do agree with EH however that he probably won't be there. i think nba people like him more than this board.

If I had evidence that he played hurt I might consider it, but he's just so damn soft.

Maybe not. I think the Wiz at #8 are the biggest threat unless someone trades up. I don't think Indiana, Orlando, Detroit are looking pg... but if they see him as bpa then maybe. Maybe Houston takes him at #4 as I've seen or maybe they move back... I'd say there is a 50/50 shot he's there.

I think Black is great option at #9, but I don't think he is worth the cost of trading up to get him and I am not entirely sure we cannot get someone just as good at #9 even if he is gone. Someone has to be there among Walker, Cam, Ausar, and Hendrix if Black is off the board. I'd like any of them.

I'm honestly just curious, but would you rather have Black go top 8 to validate your opinion, or go 9 to the Jazz?
