I actually dont *hate* the trade the more I think about it, but yeah, not a great use of assets value wise, but solid moves for their team overall.
This is like one of those 80s GMs who would trade a top 5 pick for 36 year old vet and a back up center.
Locke is doing nasty work. Trading down from 9 with Black and Hendricks there is horrendous.

If Magic want Dick then we need to be doing a 69 swap and grabbing Whitmore.
Hartenstein is one of the best backup 5's. Didnt have a great year last year, but the year before he was a pretty crazy backup 5. Magic have a wealth of assets and dont need anyone at 11. I think they just should have just traded 6 for a better vet and used 11 to get Dick.
