Oh, I took it as they are considering 9 guys who could be available at 9. You obviously take out Scoot/Amen/Miller/Wemby. So the added 4 would be Bilal, Bufkin, JHS, and George?

9 is very specific though. Doesn’t make a lot of sense the way you’re saying it.

i read that the same as cy - as in, they are taking out 4 or 5 guys they are sure won't be there.

so cam, black, wallace, hendricks, dick, ausar, george, bilal, jhs, bufkin, etc.

Another way to read it is... we are pick 9 so we are considering 9 options... like a true nothing burger.

People seem to think the Jazz would flip a coin if all 4 prospects were available to choose who they take.

Maybe not equal to them, but maybe close enough to not justify losing additional assets.

Cold water on the Bilal at #9 crowd?

That quote doesn't mean anything. It means they have a Big Board with 9 guys on it for the #9 pick. Don't assume Hendricks is in their top 9.

I don’t know why but just taking Hendricks at 9 is a little underwhelming… can’t exactly pinpoint why as he’s 8th on my big board but I just have higher aspirations.
