Jazz are 3-21 against the Western Conference and 6-6 against the Eastern Conference.
Thought the Pelicans knew how to tank?

CJ McCollum averaging 28 PPG in January. They will continue to win games here and there if he is playing. Just insane we got posters on this board prasiing the Pelicans for "knowing how to tank" when they are playing a 33 year old vet.
Tanking means happily and intentionally losing games to improve the team's draft position. It normally involves weakening parts of the roster before the season, holding out productive players, trading productive players mid-season for future draft capital, and just going through the motions on certain possessions to ensure losses.
The Jazz have been doing all of the above for the past two seasons, and this season as well. The Jazz are not trying to compete for wins, which would generally be considered the normal thing for a professional sports team to do.

That's why, more often than not, the players are held out or given limited minutes. The Jazz's bench is bad enough that if they're given enough minutes the team will normally lose.
Toronto is such a mess at end of game execution.
