Jazz get their pick owed to the Thunder back outright and their '26 2nd rounder back by sending OKC the Chicago pick with similar protections via SAS. Protects against the very-possible scenario of the Jazz getting absolutely nothing in the draft next year and makes the Wolves and Cavs picks swappable again (unlikely they'll need it, but still nice to have just in case something crazy happens). This protects draft futures on both ends of winning:
-If the Jazz have a crazy jump they'll keep their pick (which makes the possibility of swapping at all possible, also).
-If the Jazz tank crazy hard, they'll get essentially a late-1st
-If the Jazz are a borderline play-in team that might've otherwise conveyed the pick, they will keep ~10 and ~40.
Thunder might need something else but I honestly don't know what fits the bill (2nds in the farthest years out possible?). I guess you get max value by tanking our asses off again just keep Chicago's, but if you think you might start going for it next year then this is the way to go.
