Just got back from a long camping trip. I expected to have a lot of JazzFanz to catch up on. Not so much.
It seems slower here than normal, even for the off season. Maybe DA needs to make a trade just so we have something to talk about.

Eh. We just take our kids with us. Our best trips are ones where everyone is there. When they were little, we took our kids on a cross country road trip and planned cool stuff to do with them in every state.
My wife took her mom and my daughter on a trip through Europe for her graduation.
We took my son on a trip to Iceland that was pretty amazing.
And back in March, we took our kids with us to Japan for our 24th anniversary. It was awesome.
I view marriage kinda like a sports team.
You have the Golden States of the world. The perfect match of talents coming together in Curry, Klay and Draymond (the couple). Then there’s the smart FO overseeing the team and supporting making sure their needs are met and guiding them (the parents). That filters down to the supporting players (the kids, extended family).
Not every team is blessed with the perfect pairing of players howerver. You get miss match of talents or don’t get along (Rudy & Don) or where one is always injured (Pelicans, Clippers). Mismanagement of the FO (New Orleans, Wizards, Chicago), and the team never gets off the ground.
You’re lucky and well done for getting your team to run like a well oiled machine.
But again, the divorce rate is about 50% and do you know who suffers the most when your team keeps losing or gets disbanded all together?
It’s usually the kids.

Having kids and not having kids both have their pros and cons.
Cherish the positives and accept the negatives and you can be happy either way. Focus on the negatives and life will suck no matter what.
