2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Where did Givony put Edey in his latest Mock Draft?

FWIW, Tankathon shows Edey going #32 to the Jazz. NBA Draftroom has Edey going #20 to the Hawks. Yes, I get that this tournament run might help him. However, pre-draft workouts are going to put him through perimeter mobility drills, and he'll probably get mixed reviews at best.

Mark Sears is a good callout. Compares really well to Sasser last year. I think he should be in the late first/early second conversation but is more often not found at all.

KOC thinks he’s Brunson.

New No Celings big board just dropped this morning. Here are a couple things that standout:

3. Castle
4. Sheppard
6. Clingan
9. Knecht
12. McCain
13. Walter
15. Collier

Topic is a guy I can see DA and co. falling in love with. So curious to see where he falls on draft night. He’s one of 3-4 guys in the draft I’d be really excited about.

I had a thought this morning. I’d trade Keyonte for Sheppard straight across.
I like Keyonte but my issue with him is he's being positioned as the chosen one and he's not shown me enough to put that level of faith in him. Obviously we only see what happens on the court in games. I'm just not sure we should be drafting assuming the pg position is locked up. If Reed is there at 8/9 I take him. I doubt he will be. At like 3/4 where I think both him and Castle and guys like Risacher are available it becomes a harder evaluation.

If we took Reed and both him and Key are good... we have a champagne problem that is easy to solve. If you pass on Reed and Key ends up struggling... it sets you back if Reed is a better prospect.

That's a tough one... I think Reed can be more of a traditional pg and I think he should be better on defense and as a shooter. Not sure he will create enough though and you will likely need a primary scorer to pair with him on the wing. I'd probably do it too but I can see both sides of that argument.
